Hey guys! You probably don’t remember me. It’s been over seven months since we last connected, which in the online world is a lifetime-and-a-half. We used to talk about all kinds of things: my crazy life as a homeschooling mom, my failures, chickens, goals, a little crochet here, a little self-sufficiency there, my failures. But, now it’s a new year, a new decade, and a fairly new normal for my crew. But I’ve missed you guys. I’ve missed our virtual connection and feeling like my foibles and follies have meant something to someone. Anyone.
The biggest change in our house is that we are no longer homeschooling. My three oldest have settled into their new public school. They are loving it and thriving! I’m so thankful. This game-changer has been the main reason I haven’t blogged in so long. I was thinking that since this platform focused so much on our homeschooling life that I wasn’t really sure what I would have to say. And, I know it sounds a little sappy, but I guess I was taking some time to figure out what all of this meant for me. If I’m not a “homeschooling mom,” then who am I? Well, it turns out, I’m still me. Our schedules have changed, but we’re all still us. So I’d like to begin again, if you’ll have me, and we can do this crazy awesome ridiculous life thing together.
Stay tuned for more updates from the trenches. Talk soon!
